Rivalry is a LifeLoom app for private friend-group competitions. This policy explains the types of information the app may process and why.

Depending on the features you use, Rivalry may process account information, group membership information, profile names, competition results, ratings, statistics, settings, notification preferences and technical information needed to operate the app.

Information is used to provide app functionality, maintain private groups, calculate and display competition information, support account features, send requested notifications, prevent misuse and improve reliability.
4. Firebase services
Rivalry uses Firebase services for parts of its backend. These services may process authentication, database, hosting, notification or technical data as required to provide the app.
5. Group data
Information submitted to a Rivalry group may be visible to other authorised members of that group as part of the app's intended functionality.
6. Data retention and deletion
Some competition history may be retained to preserve group records. Account and deletion features are handled according to the app's available controls and applicable legal requirements.
7. Notifications
If notifications are enabled, the app may process notification tokens and preferences so relevant app notifications can be delivered. Device-level notification permissions can also be changed through your operating system.
8. Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect app data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
